Mineral Beneficiation College (MBC) is the first of its kind — South Africa's first precious minerals beneficiation college serving as a "Mineral Beneficiation vehicle" to transform platinum and other precious minerals mined in Limpopo into finished jewellery pieces and coins.
We operate in partnership with Local Mines including Anglo American Mines, Northam Holdings, and African Rainbow Minerals. Together with stakeholders such as SETA MQA and NAMB, MBC has developed a prospectus that guides youth development aligned with Industrial Revolution 4.0.

View Full CurriculumMBC offers accredited jewellery training as well as jewellery articles using qualified assessors, moderators and diamond mounters (goldsmiths) assisted by facilitators who are being developed as assessors, moderators and goldsmiths.
The experience of the qualified staff exceeds 35 years combined in the delivery of bespoke jewellery training and manufacturing of jewellery products made for the different markets around the world.
MBC is a "Site Approved / Accredited" training institution that offers jewellery internationally aligned training courses that the jewellery industry requires to enable our learners entry into the industry and access to markets globally.
MBC uses its own Learning Materials (Curriculum) that is in line with the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) to deliver bespoke training to the learners it enrols for training.
